Cooling unit for 186kW Perkins 1106D engine

In the phase changes of the engines, also the cooling units must necessarily adjust to the updated heat exchange data required from the new model and this often makes it necessary to redesign the equipment.

For some vehicles already in production, in order to avoid important modifications of the vehicle, a possible modification of the cooling core is evaluated so as to avoid an invasive vehicle impact. This radiator cools a forklift equipped with a 186kW Perkins 1106D engine. In the phase change it wasn't necessary to modify the part of the engine compartment; we've reached new heat exchange targets by raising the core unit and moving the expansion tank laterally, previously we've positioned the intercooler above it. We have also changed the external fins and increased the thickness of the cooling cores.
